Accessibility Standards
Our goal is to work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
These guidelines help address accessibility in areas such as:
-
Keyboard navigation
-
Screen-reader compatibility
-
Alternative text for meaningful images
-
Captions and transcripts for multimedia
-
Sufficient color contrast
-
Readable type and page structure
-
Clearly identified headings, links, buttons, and form fields
-
Content that can be enlarged or reflowed
-
Predictable navigation and interactions
-
Alternatives for movement, animation, audio, or time-sensitive content
-
Error identification and understandable instructions
-
Compatibility across common devices and assistive technologies
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. Technology, content, standards, and individual needs change over time, so we will continue reviewing and improving the Site.
Designing for Different Ways of Processing Information
Accessibility includes more than physical or sensory access.
We strive to make information approachable for people with different cognitive, emotional, neurological, and learning needs.
When reasonably possible, we aim to:
Use clear, direct, and respectful language
Organize information into understandable sections
Avoid unnecessarily complicated instructions
Keep navigation and interactive elements consistent
Provide enough context for links, forms, and decisions
Reduce avoidable visual clutter and sensory overload
Avoid requiring unnecessary speed or rapid responses
Explain errors without blame or judgment
Provide more than one way to request help or information
Offer reasonable flexibility in communication when possible
We recognize that a person may understand information best when it is written, spoken, demonstrated, repeated, simplified, enlarged, or presented at a different pace.

Disagreement is not the same as disrespect. People may hold different perspectives, ask difficult questions, make mistakes, and continue learning. However, disagreement never justifies cruelty, harassment, threats, dehumanization, or attacks on another person’s identity or humanity.

Nothing in this section is intended to prevent a person from reporting misconduct, expressing a good-faith concern, seeking help, setting a boundary, or discussing an experience of harm. Rather, we invite any and all information regarding the breaking of this community responsibility. Please email us in the event of violation at ali@fiocc.com.
Access to Services
We strive to provide reasonable access to information and services. However, the availability and form of a particular accommodation may depend on the service, setting, technology, location, professional requirements, and the individual circumstances involved.
If an accommodation or alternative format is needed, we invite you to contact us. We will engage in a respectful, good-faith conversation about what may help and what can reasonably be provided.
Requesting an accommodation will not be treated as an inconvenience or a lack of capability. When discussing access needs, you are not required to disclose more personal or medical information than is reasonably necessary to understand and respond to the request.

Despite our efforts, some content or functionality may not yet be fully accessible to every person or assistive technology.
We do not view the existence of this statement as proof that the Site is perfectly accessible. This statement reflects a commitment to listen, respond, repair barriers, and keep improving.
We welcome feedback from people with lived experience of disability and access barriers. No person is expected to educate us or perform unpaid accessibility work, but feedback offered voluntarily will be received respectfully.
